So what is Spring like in Spokane? Rain, Wind, a little Sun and even some snow. We got above 60 for a day, but it snowed a few days later. The mild winter fooled everyone into taking off the snow tires a little early, which meant more accidents when we did get a few inches of snow. Spring is standing in the cold and rain for baseball and soccer practices and selling Girl Scout cookies.
On the positive side – it’s also time for the crocuses to pop their heads out, the pussy willows to bloom and even the forsythia if the winter wasn’t too cold. The buds on mine are just starting to come out. After all – April (March?) showers bring May flowers. After all this rain, I’m looking forward to some great blooms this year!
